    Graduates from our comprehensive, rigorous courses in metal fabrication and CNC machining are in high demand by employers. At The Fab School, we offer only the highest quality training on state-of-the-art machinery. Our non-technical support includes job placement assistance, help with creating a résumé, and more. We want each of our students to walk out our doors fully equipped to handle real-world applications of their newly learned skills, so we provide an environment that encourages learning in every aspect of the industry.

    Introduction to Fabrication, Intermediate Fabrication, and Advanced Fabrication

    Students who wish to enroll in Intermediate and Advanced Fabrication must first complete the Introduction course. In the Introduction course, you’ll gain a familiarity with a variety of aspects of fabricating, advancing in your knowledge and skills through this 6-month course, which covers training in several areas:

    • Tube bending
    • Tube notching
    • Tube cutting
    • Pattern design
    • Chassis design and theories
    • MIG and TIG welding
    • Suspension design and theories
    • Sheet metal
    • Front Suspension Geometry Pro, a suspension design program by Autoware

    The Fab School supplies each enrolled student with many of the necessary tools for their classes:

    • Welding helmet
    • Welding gloves
    • Safety glasses
    • The Fab School workbook
    • Folder

    Students need to supply their own 12’ tape measure and welding pliers.

    Advanced CNC Operator Course

    Our Advanced CNC Operator Course is taught in our brand new, state-of-the-art Haas CNC mill and lathe facility by a lead instructor with over 15 years of experience machining and fabricating innovative racing products. With curriculum based directly on industry standards, small class sizes (10 student limit), and a convenient meeting time twice a week, you’ll be able to qualify as an Advanced Level CNC Operator in just four weeks!

    Due to the small number of people who have completed training programs in this industry, your education will increase your employability tremendously in a field where operators make up to $22.45 an hour. We also offer job placement assistance. Learn important operator functions, as well as bonus machinist functions in our courses.

    Spend Your Weekends at Weekend Warrior Classes

    Each weekend class teaches you a different fundamental skill. For one entire weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday), you’ll enjoy learning important skills from the experts:

    • TIG and MIG welding
    • Tube notching
    • Tube bending
    • Suspension
    • Sheet metal work

    The non-refundable tuition cost of $795 per class is due in full before each class starts. Classes are small, from 7 to 10 students, so contact us as soon as possible to reserve your spot. You are required to follow all dress code requirements, safety rules, and any other institutionally mandated regulations. Each student must supply their own welding supplies:

    • Welding helmet
    • Welding gloves
    • 12’ tape measure
    • Welding pliers
